IMS: Recapping A Record Setting Q1

We can officially say that Q1 is in the books and boy, what a quarter it was! Our team here at IMS finished the quarter strong with record breaking numbers. Our sales and customer success teams both reached new all-time highs. You could feel the excitement in the office, especially because this meant that our CEO, Chris Atkinson, would be sporting a new hairdo. Early on, Chris made a bet with our Customer Success team that if they hit their Q1 goal, he would shave his head. This was accomplished before the quarter even ended! The last Friday in March, our entire office gathered around to watch Chris as his head full of hair was buzzed down to almost nothing.

While every team member contributed to our Q1 success, we recognized two employees who really went above and beyond during the last three months. Kallie Wicks, VP of Customer Success, received our “Iron Pale” award for the month of March. Our Iron Pale award is given out each month to the employee who goes the extra mile; they not only give 110% in everything they do, but are willing to help out wherever necessary. Kallie shows great leadership and works endlessly to make sure our clients’ needs are being met, all while keeping a positive attitude.

The second award is the “IMS Sales Champ Belt”, given to the sales professional who sells the most each quarter. This belt is anything but ordinary, it is a giant, gold-plated belt (think WWE) with the IMS logo right in the center. Regional Sales Executive, Casey Grier, took home the honor for Q1 of 2017. Casey has been with IMS for 2.5 years and has set a great example for our growing sales organization to follow. Casey consistently exceeds expectations and brings many great attributes to the IMS team.

Hitting our goals would not have been possible without all the hard work put forth by the entire IMS team. Nothing prides us more than to see our colleagues work together and use their talent to make our customers successful. We are looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers and records we can break in Q2 and you better believe we will be carrying this momentum throughout the year!
